Our Local Roots
A Clinic Rooted in Wendake
L'Éveil du Loup is located in Wendake, a place rich in history, identity and local roots.
This local identity sets the clinic apart from a traditional massage therapy clinic. It also strengthens the connection between the treatments, the care provided, the place and the person receiving treatment.
Long before it became home to L’Éveil du Loup – Massothérapie, this house was already part of my family’s history and Wendake’s. It has been lived in for several generations, including by my great-grandparents, Georges Nicolas Gros-Louis and Augustine Bédard, who raised their six children here.
In 1941, a chimney fire deeply marked its history and that of our family, tragically taking their young son, Maurice. The house was later rebuilt and continued to evolve over the generations. Part of it served as a workshop where my great-grandfather made canoes, a testament to a craft closely tied to its time and to our history.
Today, establishing L’Éveil du Loup within these walls is a way of bringing this heritage to life. In Wendake, where family, culture, and passing things down through generations are so important, I hope to preserve the history of this home while giving it a new purpose.
L’Éveil du Loup continues the story of a place filled with memories, carrying it forward today into a new chapter.

In 2022, I earned my diploma in massage therapy. I then worked for two years as a massage therapist at a physiotherapy clinic, an experience that allowed me to deepen my knowledge and collaborate with various healthcare professionals.
Always driven by a desire to provide the best care possible, I continued my education and, in 2024, earned my kinesitherapy diploma, specializing in sports medicine.
That same year, I founded my own clinic, L'Éveil du Loup – Massothérapie. Today, I welcome a diverse clientele and offer a personalized approach based on listening, respect and adapting to each person’s needs. My goal is simple: to help you regain balance, ease your pain and give you a moment to truly take care of yourself.
